ShareSource is a Group Purchasing Organization focused on reducing costs, improving efficiency, and creating effective purchasing solutions for its affiliates.

ShareSource is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Healthcare Council, a 501(C)3 non- profit organization founded in 1946 as the Hospital Council.

The Healthcare Council is an association of healthcare providers, schools and health-related institutions assisting members by promoting intelligent planning, facilitating discussion of common problems and acting as a clearinghouse for the exchange of information.

ShareSource has documented hundreds of millions in savings and cost containment since 1972. ShareSource joined the Premier Healthcare Alliance as a group affiliate in 2008.

Members of the ShareSource group purchasing program enjoy access to regional contracts and a full portfolio of national contracts through our affiliate program with Premier. This translates into substantial discounts for affiliated members on purchases of products and services many of which are used every day.

ShareSource is a National GPO and “affiliate sponsor” of Premier Inc. Premier is a healthcare improvement company uniting an alliance of approximately 4,000 U.S. hospitals and health systems and more than 175,000 other providers and organizations.

Les Pitton was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer in April 2012 and leads both The Healthcare Council and ShareSource organizations.  He is responsible for oversight of all operational aspects including financial management, human resources, strategic planning, sales and marketing, contract administration, business development and maintaining strong relationships with the business community, members, and suppliers.

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Jenn Johnson

Ms. Johnson is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer responsible for analyzing interpreting and controlling the organization’s accounting and financial records. Jenn works closely with the CEO overseeing the financial month-end close and preparation of internal reporting. She has been involved with The Healthcare Council and ShareSource since November 2005.

Vice President and Chief Operations Officer

Donna Bailey

Mrs. Bailey is Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. In this position she works closely with the CEO, CFO, and CBDO developing and executing operational strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets. She monitors key performance indicators and metrics to track operational performance and identifies areas for improvement.

Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer

Jeff Galino

Mr. Galino is Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer. In this role, Jeff is responsible for establishing growth goals, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including partnerships and market expansion. He works closely with the CEO, CFO, and COO coordinating growth strategies for the organization. He works with our endorsed partners, Premier affiliate sponsorship offerings, GPO vendors, and supply chain leaders.

Jami Starliper

Jami is the Assistant VP of Partner Development for ShareSource. She manages the development/growth of the ShareSource Affiliate Program and staff, serving as the strategic partner who continually looks for ways to align details to ensure our members achieve cost savings and value.

Director of Member Services

Jason Hill

Mr. Hill is Director of Member Services managing all communications with all existing and prospective clients of ShareSource affiliate program. He develops and implements customer service policies and procedures to ensure quality service, responds to customer enquiries and complaints and manages the client services team, providing training and guidance as needed. He manages all departments responsible for client services.

Ann Horton

Ann Horton, Project & Program Administrator manages PremierChoice, a secondary GPO offering to non-Premier hospitals, oversees The Healthcare Council’s Mentorship Program, directs the Omega Logan Silva Scholarship with the board committee, and coordinates the annual salary survey project.

Member Services Senior Manager

Teresa Hawbaker

Teresa joined The Healthcare Council/ShareSource in September 2021. She assumed the role of Member Services Manager for ShareSource and manages the highest quality of member services for ShareSource and publishes the ShareSource monthly newsletters.  Teresa completes Premier contract activations while keeping members aware of Premier contract launches and expirations along with reporting and data analytics.

Affiliate Program Service Coordinator

Robert Gordon

Robert assists the ShareSource team with the overall operation and development of ShareSource programs.  He provides excellent custom service to ShareSource affiliates and support to the national contract team, coordinates with field sales team, maintains the Facility Overview process, performs research, and other coordination functions in support of the overall program and services offered by ShareSource.

Endorsed Partner Service Coordinator

Shetonia “Tonie” Broughton

Tonie performs a wide range of activities assisting with the day-to-day operations and development of  ShareSource’s regional endorsed partners. Tonie provides support to regional endorsed partners and contract teams, maintains the Facility Overview process, performs research, and other coordination functions as needed.

Executive Assistant/Office Manager and Bookkeeper

Ashli Thompson-Melton

Ashli Thompson-Melton is the Executive Assistant, Office Manager and Bookkeeper. In this role, she supports the CEO and the leadership team ensuring that company goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently. She organizes team communications and the planning of events, both internally and offsite and works with the CFO on expense processing, invoicing, collections and filing systems.

Director of Support Services

Kerri Scriven

Kerri Scriven is the Director of Support Services at The Healthcare Council. In this role she supports The Healthcare Council membership and facilitates connections and communication among members. She is responsible for coordination of divisional planning sessions and quarterly events with Divisional Planning Committees of The Healthcare Council.  She provides opportunities for ShareSource suppliers to present educational material to departmental groups.  She supports The Healthcare Council membership and facilitates connections and communication among member organizations including the biweekly updates. She supports the CEO in the annual awards luncheon and fall conference.

ShareSource Marketing Consultant

Hunter Mills

Mr. Mills is Marketing Manager for ShareSource. He is responsible for managing all strategic marketing plans for the company and overseeing the implementation and execution of the various efforts associated with the marketing plan. He carries out in-depth market analysis, business intelligence gathering and oversees the organization’s public relations campaigns, formulating strategies that align with the company’s business goals. He engages with social media and content creation, promoting products, services, or brand value and helps to generate new business leads.
